With the increasing number of emerging brands facing barriers to display and sell products on major online platforms, DFDF aims to provide a simple online solution. 

My goal as design lead for DFDF is to empower Startup fashion brands with tools for sales, social media promotions, and brand management, offering visibility to small fashion brands while preserving their unique identity and story in the competitive fashion market.

To kick off DFTF, I checked out how both new and experienced fashion brands handle their brands, keep sales going, and hold onto customers. I surveyed 84 fashion brands and chatted with five emerging ones to understand the everyday challenges they face. This effort gave me the lowdown on the basic trends and issues small fashion brands deal with.

This feature equips brands with a comprehensive customer database, allowing them to send and receive messages and emails directly to and from customers, fostering effective communication and relationship-building.

To enhance communication between brands and users, we've introduced a messaging feature, allowing seamless interaction between brands and customers. This facilitates easy communication and provides customers with a platform to inquire about products, discounts, and promotions, contributing to improved customer satisfaction and fostering a more engaging user experience.

This approach ensures that the platform temporarily withholds funds paid for a product until the customer receives it. Only after the product is successfully delivered does the platform release the funds to the brand. This escrow system mitigates potential issues arising from incorrect deliveries or customer dissatisfaction, as funds are held for two days post-delivery, providing a secure transaction environment for both parties.

After careful consideration, we discovered a solution – retaining each brand's voice and incorporating brand-specific images and logos in the details section. This approach allows us to keep each brand distinct while ensuring the overall quality and coherence of the platform.
